For more than fifty years I saved my concert tickets. A shoebox became a drawer, the drawer became boxes β stubs I could never quite bring myself to throw away, because each one was a night I didn't want to lose.
One day I decided to do something with them. I sat down and logged every show I could remember into Setlist.fm and Concert Archives β two communities that keep the history of live music. Then I consolidated those two lists into this single website, so the whole journey would live in one place.
The two sources didn't agree β different spellings, duplicate entries, festivals logged a dozen different ways. So everything here was carefully merged and de-duplicated, venues and cities normalized, and each entry sorted into a real show or a festival. Every band I saw is listed individually. What you're looking at is the cleaned-up, reconciled result.
Memory is a funny thing. There are shows I've surely forgotten, openers I can't name, and nights where I honestly can't remember who I was standing next to. That's where you come in. I'm sharing this with friends to keep the journey going β to spark the memories I've lost: who I went with, the shows I forgot, the ones that aren't here yet.
If you were there, tap π I was there on any show, or suggest one I'm missing. Every note brings a night back to life.
